I loved this wedding for a few reasons. First, James is a photojournalist for a British news agency so having him pick me to be Aimee and his wedding photographer was quite an honor. Second, it was at the Casa del Mar in Santa Monica – not exactly my usual wedding. I’m much more likely to be in a barn or winery for a wedding than a luxury hotel in Southern California. Third, half the guests were British and were ridiculously hilarious. I laughed so much at this wedding.
Aimee is about as easygoing as is possible, and James is just an all-around really nice guy. They were a joy to photograph and I had a ton of fun. Enjoy the photos.
James and his groomsmen got ready at the Viceroy in Santa Monica, which is one of the most stylish and interesting hotels I’ve ever seen.
