Carynne and Joe’s engagement session happened on a pretty rainy day, but we managed to find some awesome dry spots to shoot in, and the rain cleared up when we went into Montana de Oro. It actually turned out to be pretty amazing as far as the weather went.
These two have some awesome chemistry! Joe was so sweet with Carynne and they had a lot of fun together.
Cari and Marty came all the way from Chicago to have an amazing wedding at the San Luis Obispo Mission and the Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa. Cari is the one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and Marty is one of the most hilarious. You should have seen the shenanigans on their dance floor.
Cari’s brother had just returned from Iraq and it was a sweet, sweet moment when he walked into Cari’s hotel room and saw her for the first time on her wedding day. That moment is shown in the first two photos below.
Cari’s bouquet came from an Etsy store, and was made in part with her Grandmother’s jewelry.

My sister, Kristen, got engaged on December 11. I was there on a covert operation to shoot the whole thing…Joe proposed on the top of Bishop’s peak at sunrise, on the side overlooking San Luis Obispo. I was on the middle peak hiding in some bushes, and had a great vantage point of an awesome event.
We love Joe and can’t wait for them to be married! Congratulations sister.
