Married at the larger-than-life Oakland LDS temple.
Transported via school bus to a one-room schoolhouse in the country.
Picnic basket lunches on a warm afternoon under towering walnut trees, followed by dancing ’til dark.
Yep, that was Courtney and PJ’s wedding day. I couldn’t believe how much work their friends and family put into making this day spectacular – everything was handmade with lots of love. Their bridal party made me laugh a LOT.

Courtney’s necklace was one of the only things her relatives grabbed before escaping the Great Chicago Fire, and it had been passed down through generations.

They had a wedding mascot!!
