You may remember Pamela and Troy from such blog posts as Pamela and Troy’s engagement.
It was SO fun shooting their wedding. They’re both hilarious, kind people who are so easy to hang out with, and their after-dark wedding was followed by an amazing dinner party at the beautiful Carondelet House in LA.
Since the day Pamela met Troy she’d been journaling about their relationship. The last entry was written just minutes before they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day, when Pamela surprised Troy with the stack of journals. He was blown away, and it showed.
They set up what could quite possibly be the most amazing photobooth ever – an Awkward Photobooth. It had a backdrop straight out of 1985 high school prom, and they found the most amazing props. And if you wondered what that little white elephant is about, it’s been passed around their circle of friends for years and years. Bachelorette parties, weddings, you name it – Bouge the little white elephant was there.
This was just so amazing to be a part of. If I wasn’t dying of laughter I was marveling at the warmth and love in the room. So glad they wanted me to photograph it.
