This post may contain golden dinosaurs, drunk Chinese lions, and did I mention the groom and groomsmen in pink dresses?! It’s true.
Cathy and Stephen’s wedding day started at the Westin St. Francis. Stephen and his groomsmen had to participate in “Chinese Door Games”, completing a series of hilarious tasks before Stephen was allowed to see Cathy. A giggling Cathy waited nearby watching the games via Skype.
Guests were taken on a tour of the city in cable cars before arriving at the Palace of Fine Arts for the ceremony. Friends from Cathy’s steel drum band at Stanford played “Under the Sea” as they walked down the isle together. The evening brought great dancing and a performance by a Chinese lion dancing group. What a way to kick off their adventure as husband and wife!
Huge thanks to Elizabeth of Lowe House Events (http://lowehousecreative.com/) for coordinating such an epic wedding.
