Hi, I’m Ken! I live in San Luis Obispo with my beautiful wife Courtney and two amazing kiddos, Cameron and Lillian. I love cycling and I’m a bigger coffee geek than you can possibly fathom. Here’s a photo of my family:

What follows might be a little long-winded, but it’s important. You’re going to be spending a lot of time with me on your wedding day.
Honestly I think I’m a pretty easy guy to get along with. And I think that’s a big deal – if your photographer is someone who doesn’t fit naturally with you and your friends and family, it’s going to be difficult for him to get genuine photos.
Ever had a conversation abruptly interrupted by an outsider suddenly joining your crowd? Yeah – needless to say, it changes things whether you want it to or not.
Especially when that outsider is taking photos of you.
You should have a photographer that people warm up to easily. Someone who’s kind and approachable. Someone who you and others get comfortable with quickly. When that happens, and you and your friends and family let their guard down and trust me and my camera, the magic happens. That’s when you get images like this:
And it doesn’t happen because you don’t notice I’m there. It happens because you know I’m there, and are perfectly OK with it. A photographer hiding in the bushes with a telephoto lens is more obtrusive and awkward than a trusted one standing 3 feet from you.
I think you’re an incredibly valuable human being. I think you deserve to have your emails and phone calls returned promptly, and I don’t think you should have to wait months to receive your photos. 1-2 weeks sounds better to me.
So if you’re drawn to my work, let’s get together and see if we’re a fit for each other. I want to bring beauty to life in your wedding photos.
