Nikki and Brett

Sunday, September 28, 2008

Nikki and Brett had the sweetest getaway car ever, one of the best bars ever (Nikki works for a winery), and some of the raddest table settings I've seen. Add to that a venue that looked straight out of Tuscany and some Doc Bernstein's ice cream, and you've got the best place to be on September 27, 2009. I was there. It rocked.

Tiffany and Joel

Joel flies planes. Tiffany is into photography. That's too much rad for me to handle in one day, so I had to sit down for awhile after our e-session and try to expand my brain's capacity to handle awesome stuff. They're also getting married, which may be even radder than flying and photography. Marriage for the win!san luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographer

Theresa and Ryan

Theresa and Ryan had a 1940's themed wedding at the Cypress Ridge Pavilion in Arroyo Grande last weekend, and it was super rad! They had the most fun bridal party ever, a stretch Ford limo from a year that I might know if I knew anything about antique cars, and 1940's theme everywhere.arroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosarroyo grande cypress ridge pavilion wedding photosSurprise! The Grundmans!

Monday, September 22, 2008

Many months back, Amber Grundman found my blog and commented about it on her blog. My Google Alert for "Kienow" picked her post up, I noticed that she'd blogged about my blog, so I commented on her blog to say thanks for blogging about my blog. Her and John are already married, but asked if I'd shoot a session of the two of them, so of course I was happy to! We went all around downtown SLO on a Saturday morning, starting at around 7:30. Yes, 7:30 AM. On Saturday morning. They're total troopers.san luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographer

Melanie and Jared!

I used to work with Melanie at The Parable Group, so it was super cool to have her ask me to shoot her and Jared's wedding next month at EOS Winery in Paso Robles. For their engagement session we were all over Creston, which is where Jared grew up. It's an awesome town: sort of a sleepy small place full of farmers and ranchers. Melanie and Jared - can't wait for the wedding! san luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographer

Sarah and Josh

Monday, September 1, 2008

The last time I was Mission La Purisima was in 5th grade. I have a souvenir coin from there to prove it.I had the chance to head out there again for Sarah and Josh's engagement session.  It's an incredibly beautiful area, and we saw tons of deer, ground squirrels, teensy field mice, and one of the biggest oxen I've seen in my entire life.Sarah and Josh are one of the funnest couples I've ever met, and were super fun to hang out with!  Can't wait for the wedding! :)san luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographerHere are two of the deer we saw...san luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographersan luis obispo wedding photographerAt the end of our session, Josh showed me his mad flying skillz.san luis obispo wedding photographer
