New Forbeyon Sample Album

I've got a new sample album in! I've been excited about this one, because I visited Forbeyon's factory in Texas last summer to see their whole operation, and was very impressed. Every one of their albums is custom made by hand, and it was really fun to tour the factory and see how they're made.

Many thanks to the Forbeyon crew (www.forbeyon.com) for running such a great operation! This one's a 12x12 46-page, with a leather cover and accent material. It's also got a metal cameo on the front, which looks pretty awesome.

If you're meeting with me soon, you'll see it in person - it's one thing to see these photos, but another thing entirely to hold it in your hands. :)

On a side note, I HIGHLY recommend getting an album with your wedding package. My wife and I have ours out on our coffee table, and without it all that we'd probably ever see of our wedding photos are a few portraits of us hanging around the house. With an album, we keep our entire wedding story (from getting ready to leaving the reception) in one accessible, durable, attractive place. People thumb through it all the time. These things are built to last - ours looks the same as the day we got it. Let me know if you've got any album questions, I'd be happy to answer them! :)

Josh and Sarah's Wedding, Lompoc CA

Sarah and Josh are the sweetest, most fun, how-could-you-help-but-love-them couple. Their wedding was in Lompoc this past Saturday, and was sooooo much fun! Enjoy the honeymoon you two! :)

Ronnie and Kayla

Ronnie and I have known each for a long time (since junior high, I think). I was so stoked to hear that he and Kayla got engaged, and even more stoked to be their wedding photographer! They drove over to San Luis Obispo for their engagement session, and they rocked it big time. Here's the proof.

Rachelle and Rob's Engagement

Rachelle, Rob, and I met up at Limekiln falls in Big Sur, since it's been somewhere that I've really wanted to shoot. When we arrived, SURPRISE - it had completely burned up during this past summer's fire and was completely closed. Nevertheless, we found some great locations in Big Sur. How could we not, right? :)

Meagan and Austin

Half of Meagan and Austin's engagement session was spent driving around trying to find a break in the fog, and we finally did! We shot a few in the fog, then the sky opened up near Islay hill. It was chilly though - you can see their breath in a few photos.

They showed me a few places in SLO that I'd never seen. Thanks guys! Great hanging out with you! :)

Cameron and Jonas

We entered these into a contest for Bum Genius diapers. The prize is one dozen free cloth diapers. These kind of things are exciting for us parents. :)
