Lauren and Ralph, San Luis Obispo CA

Lauren and Ralph had a laid-back wedding at the San Luis Obispo Mission and Monday Club. Popolo catered it, and holy cow that was some good tri-tip. Lauren and Ralph also decided to have a bunch of different cakes - there must have been 12 different types of cake. Something for everybody, for sure. Never seen a cake line be that enthusiastic. ;)

Denise and Stephen, San Luis Obispo CA

Denise and Stephen's engagement session went down in the fields, barns, and urban areas of San Luis Obispo, and ended in the water at Pismo Beach. When they told me they were up for getting in the water towards the end of their session, I knew it would be pretty awesome. And awesome it was. :)

I've had a few people lately tell me I need to post more photos of our boy. Here's one. This is after he stuffed himself absolutely full of watermelon and faceplanted in the sand.

Lindsay and Ian's Engagement, San Francisco, CA

Lindsay and Ian's engagement session taught me a lot about San Francisco! They've lived there for 5+ years, and it seems like they know the city inside and out, which is crazy to me. It's such a big place. :) They showed me some of the nicest real estate in San Francisco, Metallica's guitarist's house, old army installments...it was awesome.

They got engaged at the table that they're sitting at in the first photo at a restaurant in San Francisco called Ferina, and are getting married at Castoro Cellars in Paso Robles this fall - can't wait!

PS - who says you can't shoot at high noon? ;)

Amy and David's Engagement, Redwood City CA

Amy and David met in Redwood City on the grassy knoll that's in the first photo of this post. They were married last March - we didn't have time for an engagement session before their wedding, so we ended up doing photos after their wedding.

They both row - that's how they met. We shot at their rowing club last weekend and had a lot of fun. They're a fun, easygoing couple to hang out with. I learned a few things about rowing, among which is the fact that I would probably die within a few yards of the shore. These two are studs. :)

Michelle and Caleb's Wedding, Fresno CA

Michelle and Caleb's wedding was on a walnut ranch on the nicest day I've experienced in the central valley (visalia) yet. Seriously, it was nicer than the coast was. Caleb's grandfather married them, which was really cool to see. And maybe I'm the only one who hasn't seen it before, but Caleb had the most hilarious garter toss ever. :)

Ronnie and Kayla's Wedding, Paso Robles CA

Ronnie and Kayla's wedding happened at Robert Hall winery on a day that ended up being perfect, though rain was in the forecast. Ronnie and Kayla are WAY into each other - I always caught them snuggling or locking eyes across a room or kissing. :) I know Ronnie from high school, so I got to see a lot of friends from high school that I hadn't seen in a long time. Ronnie just always seems so stoked, he's a fun guy to be around. Kayla seems like a perfect match. :)

Melissa and Alfred's Wedding, Fresno CA

Melissa and Alfred had a BEAUTIFUL wedding at a private vineyard home in Fresno near Kearney Park. I really miss Fresno nights being on the coast - the weather once the sun went down was absolutely perfect (and it was actually pretty good before sunset too). All in all, it was an incredible day.



















Alfred wrote Melissa a letter for her to read before the ceremony, and it was all she could do to not tear up. Rad guy. Way to go, Alfred.
