Monica and Jeff had a beautiful wedding at the Dana Powers House and Barn a few months ago. I love Jewish wedding ceremonies – so much tradition, symbolism, and significance.
Well, I’ve shot my last shoot of 2013. It was a great year! A busy year, that’s for sure. 40 weddings and a bunch of engagements for me, my busiest year yet. Kelsey had a pretty full schedule too, and Amber kicked off her associate career with a bang in 2013.
Many weddings this season took me to beautiful places around the state, and holy cow…how lucky I am to serve the clients I serve. It was an enormous pleasure experiencing and documenting all of these people, and I’m so happy for them all. I just get really cool couples somehow – I think I could be good friends with all of you if we’d grown up in some sort of shared circle. This job is all kinds of fun and I’m thankful for having been a wedding photographer for another year.
For all the couples whose weddings I shot in 2013, I wish all of you the very best and thank you for hiring me for one of the most momentous days of your lives. Can’t wait to see what 2014’s got waiting!
This post has one photo for every wedding or engagement I shot this year (in chronological order). Enjoy!
It’s the off season. That means I get a chance to recuperate from a busy wedding year, and yeah, it’s nice to have some down time and recharge. But as I sit down to blog this year’s weddings, and look through photos like these from Cassy and Kevin’s wedding, I have a bit of wedding withdrawal. Cassy and Kevin had such a warm, beautiful, joyful wedding, and I just can’t get enough of events like these.
Cassy and Kevin were great to spend time with, from their engagement session on a gorgeous spring day to their wedding on a phenomenal fall day. They live in SLO, they got married in SLO, and I’ll probably see them around SLO in the years to come. I love that.
